Mr. Manning is a successful and seasoned business executive specializing in parcel and heavyweight freight auditing services and solutions, telecommunication business services, corporate formation and client relations. Mr. Manning began his career with Centex Tele Management, a $500 million telecommunication service and solution provider (aka MCI). As Western Region Sales Executive, Mr. Manning was instrumental in creating a client recruiting and retention program resulting in over 50% annualized growth. In addition, Mr. Manning was the recipient for three consecutive years of the “President’s Circle Award,” recognizing those individuals achieving the top 10% of sales.
In 1992, Mr. Manning shifted his focus and founded MCG Solutions, a national telecommunication consulting firm. Based on his customer service and relationship centric approach, Mr. Manning quickly attracted large strategic companies and the industry’s top consultants. At MCG Solutions, Mr. Manning managed all internal and external processes ranging from corporate formation, business development, marketing, sales and services. During Mr. Manning’s first year, MCG Solutions became the leading telecommunication consulting firm in Southern California.
In 1993, Mr. Manning brought in key management to run the telecommunications business so he could focus full time on managing and integrating MCG Logistics into MCG Solutions, a global freight audit and logistics solution provider. Based on his strategic relationships and business acumen, MCG Logistics was quickly recognized as an industry leader in bundling carrier contract negotiations with comprehensive invoice and account auditing, payment processing and reporting tools. In addition, Mr. Manning’s unique and innovative services allowed his clients to increase their profitability, reduce operational expenditures and increase the effectiveness and productivity of each of his respective clients. In 2007, MCG Logistics has grown to have representation throughout North America and fostering representation throughout the world.
| Rocco Pugliese, VP - Business Development |
Mr. Pugliese is a successful and seasoned business executive specializing in account management, supply chain optimization and logistical services. Mr. Pugliese began his career with Sealy Posterpedic in 1984. As Director of Distribution, Mr. Pugliese handled all warehousing, carrier interface and contract negotiations, packaging and automation requirements as it pertains to logistics.
In 1987, Mr. Pugliese became Regional Sales Manager for ATP, Inc. and moved to California. In Mr. Pugliese’s new role he was responsible for all business development and marketing programs. In 2004, Mr. Pugliese joined the MCG Logistics team as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Pugliese has been instrumental in helping build and support MCG’s clients and strategic partnerships. Mr. Pugliese is extremely active and engaged within the Supply Chain and Logistics community. He has written articles for The OC Register, The Business Press and other industry specific publications regarding the evolvement of the logistics environment.
| Kelly Dinneen , Director - Global Logistics |
Mr. Dinneen is a transportation and logistics professional with broad and diverse industry experience. He specializes in the development, negotiation and implementation of Global Logistics and Transportation strategy and program management. Mr. Dinneen began his Transportation career with Flightmasters / Seamasters, a Domestic and International Freight Forwarder in 1990. He began his career in freight operations, and in 1996, relocated to San Francisco as a District Manager responsible for $18M in station revenue annually. One of the core functions of the station was supporting 335 Best Buy retail stores with DC bypass and direct-to-store fulfillment and distribution operations. Mr. Dinneen was also responsible for negotiating and procuring service agreements with Commercial Airline – Air Cargo management teams, as well as all regional and local surface transportation provider agreements. In June of 1999, Mr. Dinneen joined MSAS / Exel – North American Logistics to perform operations and program management of several key multi-global accounts as the SVP – Global Sales. His responsibilities included all aspects of client program management and performing routine audits of client KPI’s and company station’s performance to client SOP and MOP’s. Mr. Dinneen managed monthly revenue of $10-15M/month. In September of 2001, Mr. Dinneen’s last role with Exel was as an onsite Global Business Development Manager at Sanmina-SCI, a leading Global Contract Electronics Manufacturer. His core responsibilities were focused on working with Sanmina’s Global Logistics Organization’s teams to perform functions related to strategic account development, transportation solution implementation and daily transportation program management. In September of 2002, Mr. Dinneen joined Distribution Concept International as an independently contracted Transportation/Logistics Consultant. In this role, he continued supporting Sanmina-SCI’s Global Logistics Organization with management and development of their Global Supply Chain programs. He also supported DCI’s Medical Divisions with transportation program procurements and management of several of the nations leading health care provider system’s inbound consumable goods programs. In January of 2004, Mr. Dinneen joined Sanmina-SCI as a Senior Transportation Manager and later assumed duties of Director of Global Logistics & Transportation. In this role, he was responsible for a team of Global Logistics Managers in Asia, Europe, Latin and North Americas. The team’s core function was the responsibility of procuring and managing all Transportation and Logistics Service Providers, contracting, rates and service agreements for seven operating Business Divisions totaling 100+ facilities in 21 countries with a combined Transportation and Logistics Warehouse spend of nearly $200 million annually. Under Mr. Dinneen’s leadership the team was able to reduce overall transportation costs by 20% or more in most regions and service categories. The team was also instrumental in the development and deployment of several key transportation programs such as the US Customs CTPAT programs at 40 + North American facilities, TAPA Certification and compliance audits, Six Sigma process improvements and review. In January of 2006, Mr. Dinneen joined MCG Logistics as Director – Global Logistics. In this role, he is responsible for all oversight of MCG client’s heavyweight freight programs. He is directing core teams assigned to support MCG’s heavyweight freight clients. Mr. Dinneen’s teams are responsible for International and Domestic Air and Surface freight programs. The Heavyweight Freight teams drive all Heavyweight Freight and Logistics, RFI, RFQ, Rate & Service Program Implementation and on-going monthly management for each MCG freight client’s specific KPI criteria and methods of operation.

Wendy Urrea has made a name for herself in the logistics industry as a professional dedicated to customer service. Wendy’s professional career has allowed her the ability to experience various levels of customer service management with her current specialty focusing on managing the Late Package Recovery Department for MCG Logistics.
Wendy came to MCG Logistics in 2003 to create and implement the Late Package Recovery Department. Prior to MCG Wendy spent 12 years with Federal Express Corporation. While at Federal Express, Wendy handled customer service for their top global accounts, such as Toshiba, Walt Disney, Intel and Ingram Micro to name a few. She then moved on to technology services. Her responsibilities in automation were
to work in conjunction with their MIS Departments.
Wendy prides herself with going above and beyond for her customers, and while at Federal Express she was awarded such honors as winning the Top Customer Service Pride Award in both Sales and in Automation. Upon leaving Federal Express Wendy was involved with ongoing consulting projects dealing with logistics management, freight auditing and parcel recovery services. It was this experience which made her a perfect fit for MCG Logistics.
The Late Package Recovery Service Wendy manages is the only full circle late package audit, research, recovery and validation service in the industry.
Wendy’s ability to perform is paralleled by her desire to return back to clients what is rightfully theirs based upon the guarantees offered within the shipping industry. She is instrumental in making MCG the leader it is today in the late package recovery market.
| Michele Vernola, Director - Parcel |
Michele Vernola is an accomplished and well respected business professional specializing in logistics negotiations and management. In 1988, Mrs. Vernola began her logistics career with Federal Express Corporation in their operations division. Upon completion of her Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Mrs. Vernola was promoted to field sales representative for Federal Express. Mrs. Vernola’s responsibilities included business development, pricing contract negotiations, yield management, customer service and account management. Mrs. Vernola was quickly recognized for her territory’s sales growth allowing her to advance through multiple levels of sales positions. In addition to her upward mobility, Mrs. Vernola was awarded such honors as: Pyramid of Excellence, Top Sales Representative, Sales Executive of the Year (3 years) and Presidents Club to name a few.
Mrs. Vernola remained with Federal Express through the RPS acquisition and was promoted to the highest sales position as Global Sales Executive. While in account management, Mrs. Vernola managed such strategic accounts as: Boeing, Hughes, McDonnell Douglas and Ingram Micro. In early 1997, Mrs. Vernola left Federal Express on excellent terms to focus on her young family. Towards the end of 1997, Mrs. Vernola began working with MCG Logistics as she started her logistics consulting career. Currently as Director of Project Management with MCG Logistics, Mrs. Vernola has assisted clients of MCG Logistics in dramatically reducing their logistical expenditures due to her wealth of knowledge and understanding of the carriers and their interworkings.
| John Warnstedt , Director - Client Reporting & Freight Payment Services |
Mr. Warnstedt is an accomplished and knowledgeable business professional specializing in Operations Management. He has managed multiple distribution centers, procurement and inventory control teams, and transportation divisions. He is extremely analytical and is very strong in identifying and successfully obtaining cost reductions across the entire supply chain. Mr. Warnstedt has a BS as an Electronics Engineer Technologist, and began his career in 1987 as a Distribution Supervisor for Schweber Electronics (now Arrow Electronics) where he successfully managed over 2,000 SKU’s and 150,000 shipments a year.
In 1990, Mr. Warnstedt joined Bell Microproducts, one of the largest worldwide distributors of computer technology products and services. As a Corporate Distribution Manager, he was responsible for all aspects of the warehouses and maintaining inventory levels of $100 million with sales in excess of $100 million. He managed all freight/transportation rates and contracts and implemented a revenue generating outbound freight program.
Mr. Warnstedt joined Flextronics in 1999, as a Materials Manager where he was responsible for supporting five plants manufacturing goods for 35 customers in the high-tech industry. He arranged relationships with key suppliers and improved supply chain lead-times through constant internal and external process/program improvements.
In 2000, Mr. Warnstedt began consulting for a freight cost reduction company in El Dorado Hills, CA.. In this role, he was able to save multiple companies tens of millions of dollars through very extensive and thorough analysis that led to negotiations producing dramatic rate reductions. This consultant effort led Mr. Warnstedt to a position with one of his biggest clients, Juniper Networks, as a Corporate Logistics Manager.
After a three-year stint as an Operations Manager at Vital Merchant Services in Sacramento, a leader in the point of sale terminal distribution business, Mr. Warnstedt began his current career with MCG Logistics, a global leader in freight audit and logistics services. Currently, Mr. Warnstedt is a Director of Client Reporting and Freight Payment Services, supporting the freight division.
